the weakest players are tkachuk, all of the D except maybe hamrlik, nolan, and drury. you have serious problems at goal with the exception of theodore, and i don't really consider him a blue-chip pick this year.

What is wrong with Theodore nad Aebischer in net? That is a perfectly decent tandom. Try to trade Tkachuk to someone in your league, dump Nolan. Sopel and Staios and Souray are all solid if not spectacular D-men. See if you can trade Tkachuk and one of your D for a real good D. Sopel *could* put up some nice numbers this year.

i always look at the defense in front of goaltenders. aebischer, to me, has never been a blue chip goalie. with the new rules and the lack of adam foote, colorado's defense will be more porous. i also thought forsberg was a very good two-way player; he's gone, too.as for theodore, he may be more than a one-year-wonder, but there are several players i would take ahead of him. i think robert esche is the best goalie to have this year--he should get a lot of wins because of pbilly's scoring, he has a good, big defense in front of him, and last but not least he's actually a legitimately good goalie.

Haha. These kids and their hockey knowledge. Ill let you find out why your wrong there.Heres my team:C B. Morrison (Van - C) C P. Marleau (SJ - C) LW M. Naslund (Van - LW)LW R. Nash (Cls - LW) RW D. Heatley (Ott - RW) RW A. Mogilny (NJ - RW)D C. Pronger (Edm - D) D W. Redden (Ott - D) D B. Berard (Cls - D) D L. Visnovsky (LA - D) BN A. Zhamnov (Bos - C) BN D. Langkow (Cgy - C) G R. Luongo (Fla - G) G M. Kiprusoff (Cgy - G) BN D. Roloson (Min - G) BN M. Garon (LA - G) Im gonna be dropping Garon, and Zhamnov or Langkow to even out my bench. Im thinking grabbing a D, and a RW will work out best, since my LW is my most solid position.

The fact that they're paying him the second highest salary in the league, and relying on him for the bulk of their offense means he'll be in the lineup on opening night. He's already back to team practices. I like how every other post starts off with you questioning our knowledge, a little inferiority complex perhaps? Want to show the others that you can run with the big boys, draw a little attention to yourself? I think there might be a little bit of this going on here...Posted Image

I admit I didn't look at the free agents, but AJS gave good advice. Only place I differ is keep Sopel, drop Staois for Ozolinsh. Sopel is in a position to have a breakout year, and Slegr will likely stay available for a while if I am wrong. Snap up Ozolinsh fast.

Wow, is it hard to breathe with your head that far up your ass? :D Love your team, just dump Nolan for a young FA winger and your should coast to the title. Your D could use some work, but Souray and Hamrlik are good starting points, and Staios will rack up some PIMs. Theodore will be your horse this year, with Aebischer your #2. If he wasn't a starter I'd say dump Lalime, but he'll get you a spot W here and there.Edit - Didn't look at free agents, Ajs made some good choices, except him and I differ on Drury, I think he's a keeper.
