Don't 3bet that river. Although his flop play signified probably ace with good kicker... he's capable of having the flush or set. Usually players won't raise that river with a-x good kicker, but there are plenty of bad players capable of doing it. In any case, I would just call since theres not much value in 3betting here. If he's raising u with just a pair of aces on the end then I would target this guy and get involved in pots with him since he will make many mistakes for u later.

I'm folding the flop, first of all, it's a small pot and if he has an Ace, your dominated. Typically, they have the Ace or better when they bet into this many players, occassionally maybe a flush draw. I really don't know what your getting out of check-raising the flop, your not getting him to fold an Ace and I don't see him calling you down unless your beat. I think you were chip spewing here.

After calling the turn, were you also willing to call a blank river unimproved?Considering this is UTG, it's safe to say that 8/3 isn't what he has. He has some combination of a hand that beats you (virtually every time), where he cannot be counterfeited and possibly has you drawing to your inside straight outs, one of which may be dirty on account of the spades.I'd say that you're almost always either drawing to 3 cards, 4 cards, or drawing dead. On some rare occasions, you're drawing to 6 or 7 cards. How probable do you think it is that he holds each of those combinations?

villain had QT or some other garbage.i know this is far from the median hand people will have in this situation, but i think my working assumption will be that unknown players suck until proven otherwise.
