'"Luck" is people taking the laws of probability personally, it is the excitement of bad math.'

I am 36 and I have never needed to use algebra since high school. It is about as useless as geometry. By the way, I am a golf professional, if I have a 2 ft putt....its a gimme.

If you're in advanced accounting you know that it really has nothing to do with math...But I know that you know that, you just know that they dont know that :D

I guess this is all unnecessary rambling because Hollywood personifies something I hate about most people. He can take valuable knowledge, stare it right in the fucking face and never let a single sentence absorb into his brain.

I agree with Ozi, high school tricks your brain in thinking you actually need to know all of that horse crap.

High school or college?, because I took Advanced Accounting in high school last year and it was easy as fuck, as for the math part, all i needed was a calculator.

That's weird. I had this student that I thought would ace this AP Calculus test, and he got a 71%.What are the odds?

Yeah, as I was reading some of these posts I was thinking how math is pretty unimportant if you hate money. (Or if you're somehow fortunate enough to be a professional golfer??!!?)p.s. aadams, now i know why you're bitter toward U of I people.
