i dont have th history, i'm at worksitting with 1200.00 (give or take)Tourney; blinds 50,100sitting in c/o with 10,10 1 limp 1 min raise, fold around, on me I re-raise min. sb fold, bb fold 1st limp folds, then Original raiser calls , pot is 850.00flop 4,7,9 rainbow villain is first to act and pushes all in. 1100 - 1300 or so, (has you covered regardless)thoughts?

but i like the min raises. i was gathering info.should i have bet the pot?.

it doesn't gather info, it gives people implied odds against you because they think you have at least a decent hand so if they've already limped or are in the blinds with trash they can call because they feel they can extract a maximum amount if they hit and lose damn near the minimum if they miss. I would have pushed preflop.

it doesn't gather info, it gives people implied odds against you because they think you have at least a decent hand so if they've already limped or are in the blinds with trash they can call because they feel they can extract a maximum amount if they hit and lose damn near the minimum if they miss. k., change the situation and lets say the blinds are roughly the same but we have 3k in chips and villain has about 4k in chips., what are you doing in that spot?

depending on your read, you either reraise to isolate(probably about 700ish) or just call and see a flop, that's all read dependant though whether or not you do that.
