Ultramax 0
i am just starting out learning omaha, playing pot limit online a few times. Pot limit seems like it could be expensive to learn. Any suggestions on what types of omaha to learn, and is there anywhere online where i can find some good starting hand guidlines and other info on omaha. thank you. Either way, the pokernetwork sites have regular low fixed limit games going all day, .25/.50 hi and .50/1 8/b. A little less expensive to learn, but it is a different game than PL. PS has "good" micro limit PL games. As for guidelines, I'm really not sure.
GooperMC 0
I am not sure the policy of posting outside links on this forum. If I violate some forum mores please tell me.For O8 a very good reference is www.o8poker.comFor both high and low there are some good articles over at BTP: http://www.bet-the-pot.com/ian-berry-page52.htmlAlso posting hands that you have questions about here can be very helpful. Pot limit seems like it could be expensive to learnAs the previous poster said, check out Poker Stars. They have some micro PL games that you can learn at and make a little money while you do.
