I'm interested in your c/r on the flop. Were you waiting to see what the action was like before you put another bet in the pot? I'm still a bit torn on the turn. You have represented a strong ace. I don't think he will raise this turn with anything less than an ace himself. On the other hand, I think he's raising most aces with his PFR%. Also, he may release a weak pair on the turn given how you've played the hand. I still gotta think about the turn and river play.

I thought the flop was kind of interesting but im more intersted in the turn. When I check raise this maniac I get it heads up with a worse hand almost every time. I force the field to call two cold and some of these guys will fold weak aces. its win/win.

he's not overly aggressive postflop...i just check/call this down.i dislike bet/call because i don't think he raises the turn without a hand that beats kings.aseem

bet/callcheck/callover how many hands are those stats?how often does he go to showdown? With the low Post Flop Agg, he's not raising everything. I realize that combined with the VPIP, he's betting/raising a lot..I'd still just check/call a non-K river.

I think we miss the turn value too often checkingBut I don't know.hey, with all the c/c recommended. Maybe my low PFA stat won't look so bad in comparison. Can't see how you guys get 3.0 in that category with the recommendations I see. Aw, I'm probably missing lots of pieces to the puzzle.

he's not passive. The title of my post is "KK against a Maniac".1.27 is a huge aggro factor for someone that plays 93% of his hands.
I know. I just threw that out there. And stop getting wrto to disguise your posts!

i really really disagree with anyone that says bet/call.one thing about higher games is that opponents are more aggressive. you need to let them hang themselves a lot of times.by betting, he is less likely to raise or call with air or with a hand that you're ahead of. conversely, he will usually raise only aces or two pairs.you've gotten it heads-up, now just take this to showdown cheaply and let him hang himself in the process. don't bet and make him fold a bluff or something.aseem

I understand your point aseem. But what if Villain has some hand like A4o? I think with the check-raise working, it's possible to make him fold by bet/calling twice.

The game is actually in Athens, about 60 miles east of Atlanta, and we play Thursdays and Sundays, with an occassional monthly 200 dollar tournament. 1/3 NL, and it's a truly interesting game because the regulars have been playing together for about 18 months for the same stakes, and their strengths and weaknesses. They make occassionally BRILLIANT reads on the players they know... quickly figure out players they don't know, but they will not play less than 5/10 NL online because they can't beat bad players.
