$2/$4 four-handed on poker starsUTG posts to play (LOL).i'm BB with K :D 7 :D .UTG checks, Button folds, SB completes, i check.(a case can be made for raising preflop...)(3 SB) 7 :) 5 :) 4 :club: SB checks, i bet, i ...UTG is obviously unknown.SB is most likely a fish at 50% / 1% / 1.0, but he has done some... weird... things. (can't really make a pattern out of it...)i actually thought for a long time about this.i think a lot of people will say this is a standard fold, but i think it's a little closer than that.fwiw, i did end up folding after thinking for a while. i haven't seen what the results were, so i'm not being biased when i say that the decision is close and that my fold might have been wrong.aseem

I'd fold it, even if you are ahead somehow you still have to avoid the flush/open ender.

Pretty easy fold against most people. You'd really have to be looking at a fluke like a flush draw raise three bet by a 6 to be ahead or anywhere near it here.good luck.

the fact that UTG posted to play... under the gun... really made me think for a while.he's obviously very loose and carefree, and i think his raising range is *possibly* very wide.SB's weird checkraise also made me think for a while. first time i'd seen him do this at all.when i said SB does strange things, i meant things like limping aces and then check/calling them the whole way while raising 2-2 under the gun and bet/calling it down. he also limps AK and bets out on a 985 board and takes it to showdown unimproved.he wasn't a maniac by the numbers, but...aseem

You've just described 90% of party 10/20 six max players.I'd still fold to two cold.

smash, would you raise this preflop? i was very tempted, but decided to play it safe.an unknown posts under the gun (obviously very loose) and a known fish just completes. does K-7 offsuit have an edge? or at least an edge enough to justify sacrificing some postflop edge?aseem
