joeythep 0
Has anyone read any of John Vorhaus' books? I have a copy of his "Killer Poker: Hold 'em Handbook" and LOVE it. It's not so much about the game itself, but more about your mental attitudes, and such. It's hard to describe, I guess. Anyway, his advice has helped me get out of a mental funk more than once, and I reread some of the highlights on my way to the casino sometimes ( don't worry, I usually don't drive!) to get in the right mental state. It also contains some excersizes to actually make you think about your game, and why you play the way you do. So, just wondering if anyone had read any of his other books, would like to know your opinions.
Suited_Up 2
I've read some of the Online one, and then some of the sequel to the handbook, i forget the exact name... I agree, it is helpful in a different way. Plus I like how he writes.
DeNuts1 0
Yeah i've read the Killer Poker Online...its the same thing mainly about your mental state more than a strategy book but definetly worth reading. However, if you ever see him u probably won't read another of his books....he does crazy stuff like dressing up like a leprechaun (don't know how to spell that) when going to tournaments.
