I feel very rusty. Critique all streets. third street is definately not that smart raising the pot in the first place. As far as the two players, the few hands I played at this table I had seen seat 7 chase a lot of lows and seat 4 raise a number of hands like A 2 4 and continue to bet heavy until it became clear he didn't catch his lo and was drawing dead to a high. Idea behind the whole hand was that I would pay attention for any cards that would put my high hand in jeapordy (which never really improved) and as long as I didn't see a scarey card for the high I would be getting half of a three way pot and the other two would split the other half.

Damn, that's a big pot, especially for only 3 players.I play some stud8, but not that much (mostly stud hi); but I'll take a stab at this, and maybe others can chime in with better advice. IMO, you badly overplayed this hand.On 3rd, the completion should be automatic, IMO. You want to thin the field to protect your queens, and to charge low hands to draw. When you get reraised, I'm thinking it's most likely either suited babies or perhaps something like pocket kings. I just call, since once the bring-in calls two there, you're not getting him out. I'm not pushing on hard on 4th either.But I think 6th is where the wheels came off. His raising when he catches that 8 screams straight to me. I probably unhappily call down (since he could just be betting a made low, since seat 4 has no low as yet and he won't be putting you on a low).

You seem like a very agressive player, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in Stud 8, however, this is a mediocre hand to be so agressive with.Third street: If you are going to play your queens here (which I woudn't by the way), you need to complete the bring-in, to test the king and ace yet to act behind you (an ace being out is one reason I would not play this hand, as that is one less card for you to improve with). Re-raising the raise is not such a good idea though, but is a minor detail that can go both ways.Fourth street: Nothing wrong with betting out, to see if one of the low draws have paired up. Once again though, you are raised AND called by the other low, so I would not re-raise here. Your hand is very vulnerable, and basically only hoping for half (and that is definatley not a given as of yet).Fifth street: Betting out here isn't terrible, as the agressive raiser caught bad, but the other low caught good. I would have checked, hoping the agressive low also checked, and the other low bet, then you could raise, costing the agressive low 2-bets to continue.Sixth street: Now you are definately in toruble. Seat 4 catches a flush draw, and Seat 7 definately has a made low at this point, with 3 of the 4 showing pretty much connecting. You need to get to showdown as cheaply as possible here, only raising to hopefully get Seat 4 to have to call 2 cold here. However, with 4 to the low AND a flush draw, he isn't going anywhere. 7th street: You did make a bad low here, so betting isnt terrible, but I would probably check/call for one bet, and fold if it is two to me.

to be honest, I just flat never play high pairs unless I know for an absolute fact that there are no low draws out there. It looks to me that you were just hoping your high would hold up against a player who likely held a good scooping possibility
