soliciting opinions #1

I will dispense with all the why-I-did-what-I-did-when-I-did disclaimers. Simply put, I am looking for your opinions on how to play the hand and why you would choose that course of action.Let the flames begin.May the true insight rise to the top.Thank you.Final table of a limit hold 'em tournament, blinds are 1,500/3,000. Its limit, so you cant challenge the chip leader with one or two hands. You have to bet them when you have them, even if they are marginal. He's calling your preflop raise with anything, so the flop hit his J or T about 1/3 of the time, and even if it did youve probably got 6 outs twice to hit a set or straight so youve got 25% in redraws, so overall youre pretty big favorite after the flop.If he's got two overcards he needs about 3/1 to call the flop, which hes getting, if he has one overcard he needs 7/1 which he doesnt have so he should fold at that point.Lets say he calls that. On the turn there are 4 big bets in the pot. Bet it again and he has nowhere near the odds to call again. If he's calling both, whine about the river beat and hope you get a rematch someday.

I dislike how you played the entire hand. :? Preflop - what a weak-arse raise. More or none at all.Flop - 1/2 pot sized bet here, ya poosey.Turn - Fold here (since you didnt do either of the above items).River - Clear fold. Thanks for the correction swiftNow, here's what I would do playing limit...Pre-flop - fine.Flop - bet. 8)

what does that mean? You disagree with a larger pre-flop raise? You disagree with beeting about 1/2 the pot on the flop? Explain...
