Vade 0
I dunno. Are the blinds extremely loose? You might be better off just raising the pot again. You don't want a flush draw getting in cheaply. If just one of the callers comes in again, the raise is more profitable. How many are left on the river?I still think you want to raise. Overcalls are only good when you don't have a dominant hand. Dunno, the book might disagree
109suited 0
You did see i filled up on the turn right?
Vade 0
Whoops.Erm...I guess it's more profitable to call the turn and raise the river then.
princeof56k 0
I would raise the turn. With 2 people cold calling the raise on the flop, theres probably a straight or flush draw out there. If you raise the turn, they'll probably call (giving you 2 big bets from them). If you just call, they will call and then fold on the river when they miss (giving you only 1 bet from each of them). So I think you are missing out on a lot of money here. And they will still raise the river when they hit.

With that many callers theres a good chance someone had bottom pair with a draw.
Swift_Psycho 1
This looks like a raise to me. There isn't any reason not to charge draws and 7's more on the turn just because they are drawing dead (or close to it).
TJ_Eckleburg 0
I don't mind the turn call... but I'd definitely be raising the river. For the action behind you, a turn raise might shut out flush drawers, who miraculously hit on the river.I think the turn is a good example of a place to go for overcalls... but you definitely have to raise the river no matter what. 109suited 0
Thanks for the replies. I just called the turn, and raised the river and everyone including utg folded. I really woulda liked to see what they all had. Thanks for the input. I understand people saying raise the turn, but I'm pretty sure I prefer the line I took. I'm always open to more discussion. screech 0
Raise the turn. The board is full of draws. Make them pay now before they miss later.

I do NOT think more money was earned in this hand by going for overcalls. As a matter of fact I think money was LOST. The drawers will call the turn raise way more often than not. If you raise the turn, you arent going to scare them off. There way more likely to think you have trip 7's than a boat. Thanks for the replies. I just called the turn, and raised the river and everyone including utg folded. Now this is exactly why you raise the turn. I'll bet that one of them had KQ or Q9 for an open ended straight draw. These guys called 2 cold on the flop and then called 1 turn bet when the board paired. Since they folded on the river what else can you put them on? These guys would call 2 cold on the turn because they think their straight will be good. Since you didnt raise them it cost them only 1 bet to see the river and they folded when they missed. And BTW, they folded becasue they thought YOU had the flush. Which is another reason you should raise the turn. You want them to think their flush or straight is the best hand. You want them to raise YOU on the river when you lead out (since you probably end up leading the river by raising the turn) giving you the chance to 3 bet the river.
