econ_tim 0
$25 PLOPreflop: econ_tim has [Q 8 9 T ]UTG raises the pot to $0.85, econ_tim calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 3 folds, Button calls, SB calls, 1 fold.Flop: ($4.30) [5 T Q ]UTG bets the pot to $4.30, econ_tim ...I think I'm good here most of the time. UTG probably has AAXX or KKXX. What should I do, raise the pot? Also, if I think UTG has these hands, should I try to isolate preflop?
akishore 0
i call here and either fold or pot the turn.off the top of my head, turn cards that i probably fold to another pot bet include A, K, J, and 5. the rest, i repot.aseem
KDawgCometh 2
I'd call. You have a lot going on here, and you could very well be correct on you evaluation of the villian's hand given the limit. I'd like to see a turn before I decide on what I want to do with this hand
Steppin Razor 0
I'd call too. Repotting is a little dangerous given the others left to act. The villain's bet may be enough to isolate, but you won't get caught out for more $$ if one of the three callers has a K high or broadway straight draw.PF, re-raising may be a good idea if you are pretty sure a raise means AAxx or KKxx and that re-raising may get people to fold. Given the amount of bad players at this game/level, re-raising may not have the desired isolating effect.
Rocketwadster 0
Very unlikely that you are CURRENTLY behind, but there are lots of cards that could come that would fit into an UTG pre-flop raise that wouldn't imrpove your hand...Call and see what the turn brings. Pot it on the turn if a blank hits. 8)
