econ_tim 0
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converterPreflop: econ_tim is BB with [Qd], [Ah]. 1 fold, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls.Flop: (10 SB) [Qs], [Jh], [Th] (5 players)SB checks, econ_tim bets, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls, SB calls.Turn: (7.50 BB) [Kd] (5 players)SB checks, econ_tim bets, MP calls, CO calls, Button calls.River: (23.50 BB) [Js] (4 players)econ_tim . . . ?I guess this is a check, but if it goes check, bet, call, call, I think I might raise since someone will likely call with a hand worse than a straight. BeanGW 0
I probably just check/call. The fact that, when you win, you are very likely to split this pot, seems to make the C/R less profitable of a play when you have the best of it, and you will lose more when you have the worst of it (J-10, K-J, Q-J). Abbaddabba 0
When it's _only_ a 3way split and one guy has just a 9 (or worse), you gain 1/3rd of a bet. When someone fills up on the river, you lose two full bets, since im assuming you're calling a 3bet.

The split pot makes raising so much less desirable.
econ_tim 0
When someone fills up on the river, you lose two full bets, since im assuming you're calling a 3bet.I'm only raising if it is one bet when it gets back to me. Under these circumstances, I can be pretty sure that no one has filled up, unless they are going for the crazy call/raise the river line. And I'll take an extra 1/3 BB any day. looshle 6
I don't like any raise on the river, I can't see anyone calling it who cant beat you or tie you. Just check/call it.
BeanGW 0
And I'll take an extra 1/3 BB any day.Yes. And I'd say if the board hadn't paired, I would too. Not here though.

Whoever is in this hand with a 9 should be beaten with a stick.
