Actuary 3
how about raising the flop?13 outs to the nut str8 and 2nd nut flushMay get a free card.Or did you want to keep others in with worse draws since if you hit, you're gold?.. And you figure that even a Q falling won't be enough with the Ace on board now.Sure bet/call turn. I'd imagine you have the best hand, if not now..then with draws.

After UTG+1's check on the turn I thought he was weak and bet it trying to take it down right then, but I also picked up more outs against a weak ace

screech 0
how about raising the flop? 13 outs to the nut str8 and 2nd nut flush May get a free card. This may be correct if the pot is large. The theory being that if they will call 1 bet, they'll probably call 2 as well. Here, if you raise, you're just going to drive opponents out. I you drive them out, you really don't increase your winning chances, you just lose value.

screech 0
geeesh. Not only do my good comments not get quoted, but the ambiguous ones are butchered!Haha, It wasn't directed at you, just anyone else who may be wondering the same thing. now Screech, if yuo're still reading, , is there merit for doing this to try to get a free turn?I guess I'll have to quote this part too, so I don't upset Actuary. I think trying to get more opponents involved in this pot far outweighs the benefit of getting a free turn card. Our draw comes in so often that paying 1BB if we miss on the turn should not concern us.
