In retrospect, it pains me to see the money I gave this guy on this hand. A classic case of getting married to AA. If anyone feels they could have laid this down on the TURN, I'd like to hear it.I put him on a draw on the flop (flsh and/or str8) when in fact he flopped a monster and the perfect hand against me. Then we go to war on the turn (stubborn) and when the draw (my read originally) gets there on the river, I still call. I usually call here 99.9% of the time because the pot is so big even my read tells me I am beat.

I would call down after he 3-bet the turn.That 4 could not have hurt your hand unless your opponent has one. I doubt he's calling too many raises out of the SB with a 4.So if you were ahead on the flop, that 4 helps. Your opponent cannot outdraw you by hitting two pair on the river. Unless he is on a flush draw, whoever is behind is drawing to 2 outs.I call down at lower limits where people make illogical plays all the time.I think it's correct to call down here too, because of the unpredicatable nature of tough opponents.

Because I was going to check raise the turn here (which I did), when the bet was doubled and maximize my profit and also charge the max. to draw (my read). Hindsight, 3 betting the flop would have probably just cost me another bet in this particular hand.
