another plo8, quarter, or being quartered?

Recommended Posts

Here's a hand from yesterday. I was in the big blind with A :) 2 :) 2 :) J :club: . 5 people see the flop come 4 :D 5 :D 7 :D . The small blind bet the pot and I called with the nut low and a flush, everyone else folded. I started with about $40 and the small blind (who's a good player) had about $30. His pot bet was about $5. Is this the right play? The turn was a 9 :) , and he bet the pot again, $10. What do I do here? I'll post the results later if anyone cares.

Sluggo/smash said you have no shot at the high. Not entirely correct, as you do have a flush.Your low is very counterfeightable though.Sluggo/smash also said you are out of position. Again, not entirely correct, as we are in the BB, against the SB, and there are people yet to act though, so if they all fold, we HAVE position. How do you get them to fold? Re-pot it!!!Or check/fold the flop. 8)

Sluggo/smash said you have no shot at the high. Not entirely correct, as you do have a flush. Correction: No real shot at the high.Sluggo/smash also said you are out of position. Again, not entirely correct, as we are in the BB, against the SB, and there are people yet to act though, so if they all fold, we HAVE position. How do you get them to fold? Re-pot it!!!With three players to act behind you, you ARE out of position. Which is exactly why you DON'T re-pot it. Running into A2c is bad.Easy fold.Good luck.

Let me commend you for your polished editting. Prepare to recieve a medal and certificate in your mailbox three business days from now.Good luck.
