You are somewhat pot committed...Is this a situation where you feel comfortable going all in? Results below.As it turns out, I was correct. My opponent had J 10 in the hole. Going all in on the turn I was a 64%-36% favorite. The villian calls and catches K for the runner runner straight and I am sent to the rail. Please help me to settle a dispute. Did I get sucked out on, or did I totally misplay my hand?

I agree 100%!How about just posting the hand history here, so we can all see chip stacks, position, etc. etc.That way we can evaluate the situation with the same information you had to give you sound advice.

While I do appreciate your replies, the circumstances before the turn are unimportant in the discussion I am having with my so called friend. My only question is...Is two pair vs 1 pair w/ a straight draw a strong enough hand for you to risk your tournament life with only 1 card remaining?

You can't answer that without knowing the stacks sizes, blinds, players payed, ect.

You really need to give all your fans here on the site more information! Hand history please?The real question is why were you playing 9,5 in the first place?Is the site rigged, did you know that you would flop two pair?I think not as I do not believe the sites are rigged and don't wear a tin foil hat.So again the real question that must first be asked is why were you playing that monster hand to begin with?Seeing as not too many people are seeing this here, you might want to take the entire hand history along with your reasoning and post it in the general forum.I am sure if you were to do that you would get the attention that you so desire, and deserve.BTWYou also leave out the total financial results, how did you end up doing after playing this monster hand?

even without knowing the stack sizes, current state of the tourney, and all that other jazz that you somehow didn't think was improtant, this is NOT a place to be putting all you money in on. Even if you were to somehow know your opponent did not have ONE heart, the fact that there are currently two broadway cards out there plus a nine to boot makes it an easy check/fold for me. Bottom two pair is a crap hand, especially with that board. 8)
