I like it. I don't think there's any point to take a stab at the pot on the river. It seems like BB either has a low pair or was on a draw the whole time. If he was on a draw, he's probably going to call your suspicious river bet with ace high. The only other card he could have in his hand that you would want to bluff out is a queen. You're ahead of all other drawing hands, and none of them will call anyway if you bet.

If the pot were larger, I would vote for a bet on the river. You can only win with a bluff at this point (unless the opponent has a nekkid 9 or a low flush draw), and you might make a weak 6 or 7 fold. But the pot is so teeny, and I doubt that the fold equity here is over 25%, unless the opponent is known to fold on the river a lot.In general, I don't raise the flop with weak overs and an unclean gutshot out of position. I'd call the flop (the odds are close), looking for overcallers and praying for a 9, a J, or the backdoor to spike. The reverse implied odds (better overs, flush) almost convince me to fold the flop, though.

I'm undecided right now. The king on the turn was a good card to bet on, but you took the free card. Now the river pairs the board, and you check, getting a free showdown with your pair of 8's with king jack ten. Highly unlikely to win that hand at showdown...Not sure what to do... :?
