You realize that with five players seeing the flop one probably has a set, right? You realize that one hand can have multiple draws, right? You realize that even with possibly the best hand you may have to lay it down because you're out of position, right?

1) Read is that he's a maniac. My queens may very well be the best hand at the moment.2) Even if he had a set of 5s (assuming no draws), I'm still a slight favorite.3) This is an extremely strong hand to lay down against this opponent. If the board pairs (other than 9s), I might re-evaluate the turn, but most turns...I'm going all-in after my flop push.4) Why the new nick, smash?

1) Read is that you have three other opponents to contend with. Your queens are certainly not the best hand at the moment.2) Even if you do have the best hand (which you don't), you are out of position.3) This hand is not extremely strong, ESPECIALLY out of position. Only two outs give you the uncrackable nuts. Even if you hit your straight draw, any five, nine, ten, jack, queen, club (that isn't a king or eight), eight or king (that isn't a club) ruins your hand.4) Check/fold this flop. Seriously. Save the money for liquor a year down the road when you're begging on the street corner because you lost everything you owned losing at poker.Easy fold.Good luck.

Dammit, smash...he had A :D K :club: 7 :D 2 :D...So my queens were ahead...and I was 66% on the flop.If any of my other opponents had show any sign of life, I definitely would've slowed down. By the time his raise got back to me, two have folded, and the other had just called a small bet.And I've done quite well since I started playing poker, thank you.

So you're posting here crying to me just to feel justified in making a poor play?Bravo. Good read. You're the best. Even out of position with a terrible hand in a multi-way pot, your sheer brilliance made you enough money to fill up your car with enough gas to drive halfway to Mexico.I applaud you.By the way, you don't mind if I add you to my friends list, do you?

Blah. You know I respect your advice. I didn't mean to get into an argument. And in general, check/fold is probably the best line here.Against this opponent, I felt that my hand was likely singificantly better on the flop, but I'll roll over next time.

Then it's an even easier fold. That also explains the maniac's crazy, awful, so-bad-only-a-mother-could-love hand: A2 suited chasing nut flush and backdoor nut low draws. Wow, what a maniac.Good luck.

check/fold? Against a random set of jacks the hand is even money. I think it's alright to cool down against a reraise though. Raise/call is how I would of played it. You want to see free cards here, and because you know your opponent is agressive/loose you know they will call you down with a set when you make your straight. It's more profitable to play it out then it is to go all in on even money.

Come join my table to learn by trial and error.
I'd really rather not. And, I realize that you think I'm terrible because of this hand.

He's a maniac because he kept potting hands like T853o pre-flop and pushing it post-flop.The best way to beat a maniac isn't to become one yourself.Good luck.
I'm not sure if it's funny or sad that you're trying so hard to act like Smash...

I havent read any of the other responses, so here is my unbiased 3 cents:I recently posted a hand in PLO8, where I had a zillion outs to scoop, but currently had basically nothing. I was told to basically just call the post-flop raise and to check/fold the turn UI. This hand is eerily similar... 8)

You may have been ahead on the flop (not sure though and I am not going to run it), however you are well behind on the turn. Given your read and positional disadvantage, I would have check/called the flop and check/folded the turn. The above was my initial response and I then started thinking through what I would then have done with other turns:Club: Actually only the Kc is really a safe card. Any other club would put a low draw out there, although if it were the A, that is slightly better but not much and something like Kc2c4x is going to get excited.non Club K: great, go for it, but if he doesn't have the flush he is representing you are probably not going to get action.Q: You are probably aheadJ: UglyT:You could well be in trouble9:You are probably ahead - worth a bet to find out.8c: woohoo, at least you may get action from a low draw as well as A-hi flush.8shd:go for it, but be aware that A2c will not be going anywhere.2-7shd: now there is a low draw so you are probably playing for half the pot.So there are really only 2 cards that can come on the turn that you like (Kc,8c), there are 3 that you are pleased to see (Kh, Ks,Kd) and 8 that you can live with (8s,8h,8d,Qh,Qd,9s,9d,Ac) and of these you will only stick around with the first 3. You are really drawing for 8 cards, so although it looks like a pretty hand, Check/Fold does appear to be correct on the flop.
