Just wondering how you deal with slow players in a tournament or SnG setting? It's not like a ring game where you can leave. In a SnG last night, this player was on the button for the first hand. It gets checked to him and he takes all his time including his banked time to fold. I'm thinking it's the first hand and he just stepped away. No, he does this for the next six hands as well letting the system "fold" for him.Maybe it's his strategy to put the other folks on tilt; no one said anything during all this time, so he finally stopped. Justice was not served as he ended up winning the SnG busting me out on the last hand . The river gave me the nut flush (I had the A) but it also ended up making his boat.Oh well...

I don't know that there's much you can do about that really, except for using the extra time you're given to assess your hand, the rest of the table, and your play. In theory, if you are a smarter poker player than your opponents, the extra time should benefit you more than it does them.Whatever you do, don't be That Guy that types :ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzevery time there is a pause. That's worse.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. I've come to accept the following:1. Each poker player has been given an alotted time in which to act and is entitled to use that time as they see fit.2. Nobody else is using my money so what gives me the right to tell them how to play?3. Some players will go to any lengths to try to upset their opponents.

The one that pisses me off is the people that won't click the box for "Auto Post Blinds". You have to wait for around 20 seconds every time it gets to their blind.
