dna4ever 2
Won an autographed copy of this book by making final table in the Cardplayer January 2005 freeroll.I have to say its awesome to get a free book, autographed one at that! I have to go on to say I have a tremendous amount of respect for Barry Shulman as a player and what he has done with cardplayer, I absolutely love the site and articles. However with all of that said this book is terrible for anyone who has played cards for any amount of time. It could be the most basic book ever written about the game. I think this would be a good book if you have never played a hand of hold'em in your life. It basically walks you through odds and positioning and how to avoid common poker pitfalls which are all very important, but all this information is already saturated in other books and I was expecting more.
