I was playing in a B&M here and I was wondering how I played this hand.10 handed: NL 1/2 Blinds I have 320 (biggest stack at table)I am in the SB and look down at Q10 . It is limped 4 different ways, I call the big blind and it is checked by the big blind. 10 dollars in the potFlop comes J 9 5 . I lead 5 in first position. It is folded to one off the button who raises to 15 and the button cold calls. and I call the 10.55 dollars in the pot.Turn is the 2 . I check one off the button bets 10 and button calls as do I.85 dollars in pot.River is 3 . I check planning on check-raising. One of the button leads 25 and the button min-raises to 50. I go into the tank, and finally call after a minute. One off the button folds J 5 face up and the button flips up A 6 for the nuts.210 dollar pot. How did I play, should I of folded on the river?

You realize that you're a slight favorite against two pair on the flop, right? I might've been tempted to push here. Definitely would've in a tourny. I'm not sure if you can get the ace-high flush draw to fold...but it might've been possible.

How did I play, should I of folded on the river?

Interesting hand, definitely alot to be learned from this hand.I probably would have played it the same, but now that you look back at it, you can see where you went wrong. Not an easy hand to play or read, but if you really focus and concentrate on the hand, you obviously see that the button is also drawing to a hand as well. You have to push him out somewhere by reraising the flop or betting out on the turn. I like reraising on the flop, trying to get the reraiser to put all his money in, the button should fold here, and you call as the favorite against a hand like AJ (63% fav to be exact). On the turn, (seeing that the one off button has a strong hand and has reraised you on the flop) I would have bet out again on the turn (try $15-$20) trying to get a reraise by the original reraiser, and unlikely, but maybe get the button to fold seeing to much action in front of him. Not a bad play though. On the river, very tough laydown, but you got to be disciplined enough to know your beat, even with the 3rd nuts, bite your tongue and throw away the Q high flush. The button all of a sudden waking up has got to be a little scary...

It turns out that the button said that if I would of reaised on the flop that he would of laid down his hand. Problem is...I think that initial raiser would of put all his chips in with his two pair...So how do you play this
