Here is a hand that I recently played and I would love to have it torn apart. PokerStars Game #1120063222: Hold'em Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2005/01/24 - 06:04:50 (ET)Table 'Chara' Seat #1 is the buttonSeat 1: kosoof ($3.15 in chips) Seat 2: Chess500 ($12.45 in chips) Seat 3: HillJack10 ($9.05 in chips) Seat 4: beatlebobbyb ($4.75 in chips) Seat 5: SCGCPA ($4 in chips) Seat 6: TheBald ($5.25 in chips) Seat 7: NorthPacific ($14.50 in chips) Seat 8: Beer Boss ($4.75 in chips) Seat 9: Alicia1223 ($10.85 in chips) Seat 10: Fotland ($5.75 in chips) Chess500: posts small blind $0.10HillJack10: posts big blind $0.25*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to NorthPacific [6s 7s]67s in middle position I call, is this too loose? beatlebobbyb: calls $0.25SCGCPA: folds TheBald: folds NorthPacific: calls $0.25Beer Boss: folds Alicia1223: folds Fotland: calls $0.25kosoof: raises $0.25 to $0.50Chess500: folds HillJack10: calls $0.25beatlebobbyb: calls $0.25NorthPacific: calls $0.25Fotland: calls $0.25and of course someone later position raises, so for one more bet I want to see the flop. Leak, maybe. Insight would be appreciated.*** FLOP *** [6d Qh Ts]HillJack10: checks beatlebobbyb: checks NorthPacific: checks Fotland: checks kosoof: bets $0.25HillJack10: calls $0.25beatlebobbyb: calls $0.25NorthPacific: calls $0.25Fotland: folds bottom pr so I check. Pf raiser bets, thinking I should have laid it down and most of the time I do, but I didn’t, I think I wanted to see one more card for lack of playable hands, don’t know, but know I shouldn’t have. I put him on AA, AK, or KK because he didn’t seem too worried about he Q or the T.*** TURN *** [6d Qh Ts] [4s]HillJack10: checks beatlebobbyb: checks NorthPacific: checks kosoof: bets $0.50HillJack10: calls $0.50beatlebobbyb: folds NorthPacific: calls $0.50Turn shows a second spade giving me a four flush and bottom pr. with one more to come so I bet. So I figure I’ve blundered into the pot this far, it’s a $5.00 and the bet it .50, I have 12 outs, I think they are all clean, so the odds say bet, so of course I bet.*** RIVER *** [6d Qh Ts 4s] [3c]HillJack10: checks NorthPacific: checks kosoof: bets $0.50HillJack10: calls $0.50NorthPacific: folds And of course I lose.

Which suited connectors would you call a raise with from middle position.

Flop call is pretty loose, even getting 8 to 1.Playing this pre-flop from MP is fine in most games at that limit. I'm not saying your flop call is completely out of line, but if you're going to play it a raise is probably better to clean up some your outs.If you're going to play these and you don't have a good handle on how to play them in medium sized pots when you flop a marginal hand just fold them if you don't flop an OESD, flush draw, or two pair. You're not losing much value by doing that and if you don't play them great postflop you're proabbly saving money.

Which suited connectors would you call a raise with from middle position. All of them. Don't fold a hand after limping pre-flop it's almost never correct.A raise is no big deal with middle suited connectors, I occasionally raise with them pre-flop in tougher games.

small suited connectors (98 and under) I'm looking for a dead minimum of two pair on the flop or a monster draw. Otherwise its a muck. Playing bottom pair is a dangerous concept in limit, especially without a kicker. In a NL HE game (limit is not a strength of mine), I love connectors from any position that I feel I can avoid a 'standard' raise from. Some passive tables I'll open or open-raise with them, some I try to limp, some I don't bother trying at all. Its all about the situation. I will say though that if you hit, it can be a very nice pot :D
