doctorpaul 0
Okay, mason wrote a book or three with sklansky, so he must be alright. Not sure if any of his three essay books are any good, or which ones I might need.I am an intermediate player, small stakes, play online. Particularly interested in examples of post flop play (like sklansky and ed miller and mason malmuth do in SSHE), have ordered TOP and HOH1+2 (not here yet)Anyone care to comment on Malmuth's three essay books? GamblinLeaf 0
I've got 'em. I like 'em. Just like the titles suggest, they are collections of thoughts and "musings"; it's not designed to be a strategy-heavy read like SSHE or HEFAP. Different people will get something different out of his essays, but I certainly enjoyed them and would recommend them. If you're on the fence about buying them, go to Barnes and Noble or Borders and read a few pages to see if you like it.
