Actuary 3
pf raiser acting to my right...if it gets all the way to him with no bets..I can make the field face 2..and clear out some outs (Aces, maybe) And at this level, perhaps, represent trips. He might not realize that I'm not callnig his pf raise with hardly any hand that gives me trips here. So, I try to get it heads up. The pot is good size, so I'm trying to win it. I know str8 draws and possibe trips are out there...so I won't continue aggression if I get a few callers. Unless a K/Q hits. I'm folding to a 3-bet...or at least UI on the turn I need to read SSHE again and again..this board was not so good for me...but I thought other factors, like a decent pot and weak opponents made it worth while. You aren't cleaning up any Ace outs. Also, you are still giving the field 7-1 on their call of two cold. Any flush draw and any OESD are certainly sticking around.I realize you want to play to win the big pots, but this board is too coordinated and you likely have no equity edge. I think you have to fold here.
Actuary 3
my termiology aint so good.I mean I clear out the Aces, so if an Ace and K/Q both come, I'm gold.I realize I'm not too vulnerable to better kickers, here, so I'm not really trying to "clean my King/Queen outs" Just thought in case an Ace comes too...I know the board was coordinated...and was banking on no one having bet yet as indication that I might get it HU.I'ts scary for them too.I see now that it was not ideal.Darn it, I'm looking to use c/r at the right time.thanks. wrto4556 0
its probably not a big enough mistake to even consider, but you should probably fold preflop.the flop check/raise is spewery(is that a word)
Actuary 3
its probably not a big enough mistake to even consider, but you should probably fold preflop.the flop check/raise is spewery(is that a word)yep. pf call was loose.flop c/r might get me a look at the next two cards for no extra bets.Or maybe fold equity if I bet out on the turn.Given most players at this level, he probably thinks I hit a 7.I'll fold to a 3-bet here. GamblinLeaf 0
Given most players at this level, he probably thinks I hit a 7.Given most players at this level, you might also be best served saving chips for when you have good hands and then punishing said players. Not sure there's a need to be looking to "make moves" on players here. Just a thought, not a knock.
BeanGW 0
Given most players at this level' date=' he probably thinks I hit a 7.[/quote']Given most players at this level, he probably doesn't think at all. Also, maybe you make this play with a slightly stronger hand against 2 villains. But not with this hand against 4 villains.

Abbaddabba 0
You know what they say about outcome based thinking.
Smiff85 0
I don't like it to be honest you have 2 weak overs and a v weak bdoor flush draw. Also the board has straight draw and flush draws on. Your not folding anyone with these draws.
Smiff85 0
Another thing is that any flush draws or straight draws will not fold because of the size of the pot and also your pushing there equity edge for them.
Actuary 3
I know good draws will call. (and some bad ones)It's a risk I'm taking to win 6BB.If it's not HU by the turn, I'm folding UI.If it's HU on the Turn, I'm leading out.Put yourself in Buttons shoes. There's a paired board and some donk (me) just c/r the flop and leads the turn. He's got to have a good read or very strong hand to pay 2 more BB to win 8-9BB.My cards hardly matter in this hand..it's the board and my position on the flop vs the pf-Raiser.can I claim Meta-game purposes ? (once I figure out what that means)just trying new things..this is not my normal play. :-)

Often a PFR will call you down the whole way with ace high. What happened is extremely atypical of a .50/1 game on party.
