KDawgCometh 2 Posted January 24, 2005 Share Posted January 24, 2005 Bob Ciaffone, Lou Krieger, And Mike Capeletti have all done books on Omaha. Krieger and Cappleletti's are on 8/o. Of course there is the Omaha sections in SS/2 now. There is a real lack of omaha books out there. The warren book is good if yourr new to omaha but after you know how to pick the right hands there isn't much from there Link to post Share on other sites

Anyone read this one?I do, its all quizzes on hands that he played, kinda weird and I'm not to much of a fan of it. There isn't much strategy to it. They explore the concepts of negitive value hands in Omaha HL, which has saved me a lot of money, and playing for the scoop, which has made me a lot of money.I saw Super Systems 2 at Barnes and Noble yesterday. I like his writing style, I think its all how you can take it in. Everyone learns diffrently by the way they are taught, I like the way he teaches the game. HIs hold em book was good for me when I needed it, but the omaha was almost worthless. I had already been able to de-holdemize myself when I read it and basically all he does is focus on differentiating holdem from omaha. Lou Krieger Has a great 8 o/b book. Highly recomended. He really gets into strategy( I think he might focus on low cards a little too much, like haveing A234, but that is my only complaint)) Link to post Share on other sites
