Just moved here about 2 monthes ago. Anyone living around here know of any cool hang out spots that arent all touristy or does that just come with the territory. I've been playing poker non-stop since I got here and think I am about ready for a normal life :)Saw all of DNs pics and looks like he knows how its done.Nice webnsite DN and congrats on the marriage.Cheers,Jeremy

I don't live in Vegas, but have been there a few times. One of my favorite non-poker places to go was "The Beach"..I'm sure it's a little touristy (as I was a tourist when i went), but I loved it.

Try the city park? I like the little space where all the drunk homeys try to get shade. Enjoy Vegas the doctor in the emergency room told me its not a great place to live.

Never been there, haven't even thought about it.But I would say head away from the strip and drive around and see where you end up. lol. My thoughts are that anything near the strip or anything touristy are going to be tourist centrist. But things out in native Vegas are going to be more normal city.
