I posted a question about bankroll requirements for pot limit omaha (hi) for the specific purpose of playing in this game.Yesterday morning I noticed a $100PLO table on pokerroom with a ridiculous amount of money on the table. I believe it was somewhere in the ballpark of $3000, $1000 in the hands of a maniac.I found out I have the roll to cover it, but I wanted to know what everyone else would do to handle a table maniac like this one.Regardless of position, he would usually raise the pot preflop. He was called by virtually everyone, every time. Pots would get as big as $300 with the winner scooping with two pair.What was I doing? Well. I was playing solid hands, with an emphasis on going for the nut flush draw. I dropped $200-300 in pots where I had the nut flush draw on an unpaired board all-in against four or five other players.I am not complaining about my results. I lost about $500 and I have no regrets about the plays. Is there any other way to play but nut-peddling when at a loose table where no one is giving any respect? Does anybody favor getting in there and mixing it up with the maniac?

You may be looking at the play money table. Oops, forgot the Anyway for PLO $200 or below, 300BB is sufficient if you play conservatively, it's a much simpler game than PLO8 (to me).

I was actually kind of confused when I first saw it. It was real money, and I have first-hand experience with the ridiculous variance in a maniac pot limit omaha game. I don't think there is any way you could survive in a game like this with just 300BBs.
