Smasharoo 0
Fold prelfop.Shorthanded limit O8 is an essentially pointless game. You hit a miracle flop here, but most of the time you're going to flop a marginal hand against another marginal hand and have no idea where you are.Play ten handed where you have many more opportunities to exploit massive edges multiway.Good luck. Rocketwadster 0
Steer clera of the short-handed O8 games IMO. So much of a crapshoot, skill takes the back seat of the short-bus 8)
Chamonyx 0
Notwithstanding Sash's comments about SH LO8.....This looks classically fine:PreFlop: perfectly acceptable to try to steal the blinds with this hand - 23 is nice to have SH, and you have some c-f protection. (If UTG had called, I would probably just have called.)Flop: Yaber-daber-doo, 2nd low, wheel draw, draw to 2nd flush, bet away.Turn: hope they both have spades, bet away. No CR on the flop suggests that neither has the nut low, so make 'em pay to stay and hope for that heart on the river.River: OK, no heart but 4c works too!
ahosang 0
Samsharoo's comments about short-handed O8 are spot-on, but like Chamonyx, I don't think that you should fold this 4-handed.
econ_tim 0
How am I going to win my bracelet in Omaha Hi/Lo if I don't learn to play short-handed?
JacKingOff_suit 0
econ_tim, if you really want to improve your LO8 play, post your questions at 2+2 and you want answers from Buzz. No one here is really qualified as a LO8 expert. That's about the best advice I can give you.

Maybe if I take an extended break from LHE sometime, I can learn how to play O8 correctly.
