Pre-Flop- A raise isn't bad, but DON'T get into a habit of it in O8. This is a pretty strong hand, but you don't HAVE to raise with it pre-flop. You can call and you're not making a huge mistake.Flop- I probably would have called the flop, not raised it. Your low draw is gone and you only have top pair. On the other hand, you have a backdoor flush draw and queens, and the pot is heads up. You are definitely NOT folding, but I would like to hear some input from other people.Turn- I would have taken my free card right here. If he check/raises you, you're screwed. Don't give him the opportunity. I say check.River- No matter what you did on the turn, CHECK THE RIVER. He gave you a chance at a free showdown when you have basically no idea of where you are in the hand.

You have a great Heads Up hand as long as you are not up against AA. The trouble is, UTG's raise suggests that he might well have AA. Alternatively KK or A23, A24 are possibilitites. Given these alternatives, your re-raise to isolate pre-flop is valid, but I would have been tempted to flat call (if you both have A2 you need plenty of players to make any money from splitting the low). Flop: His bet is consistent with AA, although it is probably just a continuation. I really like your re-raise of a small bet here to find out where you are. His call suggests he doesn't have AA, so you can start representing it!Turn: Great scare card if he was playing A23 (but note that if that is the case he has you beat). Obvious bet here to see if he goes away.River: Your only real mistake IMO. He is not going to fold for one bet, he almost certainly has half the pot based on my read (A24, A23) and is probably goign to scoop, so just take the free showdown.Showdown: WTF, add him to your buddy list. (His hand is actually a good one for heads up play - only 43:57 against you pre-folp - but UTG there is no way he can know that he is going to get HU).

AQQ2 is not a reraising hand IMO. It has no counterfeit protection and the hands it will isolate against are typically going to dominate it. If you're not against another A2 with either low backup or AA then what are you against. K K A 2 / 2 3 4 5 /A 2 10 J Nothing you really want to play against heads up.However if you already knew that falconsbid was a complete donkey that raises one of the worst non-trip hands in O8 (6789 ha!) isolation is ok, but you still whiffed on this flop and had 1 pair with little chance of improvement. Avoid getting locked into a hand like this.
