I hate to fold this to a raise, though. Would you bet/call one riase, or Bet/Fold..even though I'm certainly beat if riased, if would suck to fold, and not know what villan waited to c/r the river with.

I'd bet/call, i'd need a really strong read to fold this for one bet at the end and even then I'd probably call it down. I don't think you should ever bet a river in this type of situation unless you're planning to call a raise. if you plan on bet/folding, then just check it.

You have to bet this.Have to, have to, have to.You can fold to a raise if it's a passive player, but this *rarely* a 6 looking to C/R.Occasionally, but not very often.Good luck.

Bet/call is the only way to play this river.If you get checked raised, you're getting 12:1 to call. Even against passive players that's enough. Plus, you don't want them taking shots at you later. If the pot was around 8:1, I'd be more inclined to fold.Also, I noticed the title of your post said bad night. When you're running bad, you always fear the worst in situations like this. This is a sure way to miss bets and cost yourself money. Remember, you only have to be good here 33% to make your bet for value. I'd put you at closer to 70%.

A check-raise could come from a bad player with KQ, KT. You have to bet this river for value, and call a raise. If UTG+1 or MP3 have a 6, their donkey bets saved you a BB on the turn anyway.

conicidentally I made a post concerning NL vs Limit, and how in Limit it's much more difficult to figue out why you don't win more $$$...and I mentioned missing value bets...This is a part of my game that has actually gotten WORSE!I'm not sure why I love playing so much when it's apparent I hate money. But the pain of losing an extra dollar betting turns me into a girl. Without thinking about all the $$$ I don't win, as lost dollars. Why do I make loose calls when beat, but won't bet when ahead? As if, my opponent would never call me unless he's got me beat...crazy.Smash suggests folding to a raise is fine, others seems to say call...this also makes me play safe...avoid tough decisions that will bother me.I play within my bankroll, too, so I'm not sure why losing some extra on the River, once in a while, keeps me playing so weak..if in fact I would make more money betting here. I'm just expecting one of them must have me beat, if they call or raise...most of the time my bet would just fold them...

One thing I keep telling myself in situations like these is that they're just as afraid of <whatever> as you are. Now, we all know it's not quite that simple. But, as long as you pay attention to the real information you have (their stats, their plays/raises/etc) and make sane, thought-out bets, you'll be fine. I mean, think of all othe other crap these guys are likely to call-down with given the board: mid pocket pair, Ax, a flopped flushdraw, a flopped straight draw. you get the idea.

I'm just repeating everyone else's thoughts, but this is an easy river bet. I'm also calling a check/raise unless the raiser is extremely passive.
