OUCH! Worst beat I believe I've ever experienced... and I'm not talking like "OOH! MY aces got cracked boohoo" or "Oh man he called with an open-ended straight draw and a flush draw and he caught it... what an idiot!" I'm talking... two cards in the deck that he will win this hand with... and he catches them in succession....ok so here's the deal. I had just started playing on True Poker for real money... within my first few days of playing I got my initial deposit of $50 bucks up to about $1200... so I said "eh... I'll try one of those $100 sit and goes and see what happens... about half way through the tourney with blinds at about 200-400 I believe I had about3200 when I picked up Ac :D Ah :) on the dealer button... there 5 players left in the tourney... the first three limp in (which was strange at this level of blinds) and when it gets to me I raise to 1600... half of my stack... the sb folds. the bb calls and the player immediately to my right is the only other caller.... the flop comes 10h :) -4h :club: -7h :club: the big blind player checks, along with the player on my right.... and I think to myself "I don't wanna be trapped.... and letting them see another card probably really won't hurt since a heart will help me as well..."... so I decide to check also.10h :club: -4h :club: -7h :club: - 5h :club: .... BINGO!!!!! Ace high flush... no full house possible... best hand(barring some idiot played 3h :D 6h :) for 1600 preflop).... the bb bets 800... the guy on my right calls and I raise to 1600... all in.... the bb calls.... and so does the other guy.... they are in a side pot so I don't know what I'm up against yet... the river makes it 10h :D -4h :) -7h :D -5h :) -6h :club: ...... bb goes all-in and the other guy calls.... so what does the bb turn over??? any guesses... I'm sure you won't be right.... Q :D 3 :club: that right... QUEEN FREAKIN THREE OFFSUIT for 1600 preflop... you heard of people NEVER folding blinds just cuz "it's their blind" yep... in the other guys defense he should A,K the king being a heart. but yep... now I think that's an actual bad beat... where the guy hits the ONE AND ONLY card in the deck that will help him... the damn 6 of hearts
