DCWildcat 0
So my fraternity happens to be in trouble with the school again for hazing (3 out of the last 4 years, we're kicking ass). Unfortunately, we're on some pretty serious probation (not double-secret, but close), and we can't have rushees near the house for a few weeks longer than normal. That's loosely relevant to the fact that I love blaring music out on warm sunny days from the house, and I'm working on a mix to do such. The music should reflect that--happy, maybe nostalgic, and hopefully with a southern twinge. Here's what I have so far:Summer of '69 (pretty much the ideal song for this)Mud on the Tires (Brad Paisely)More Than A Feeling (Boston)Just Older (Bon Jovi)Won't Back Down (Tom Petty)Southern Cross (Jimmy Buffet)Red Dirt Road (Brooks & Dunn)Carry On (Pat Green)Blue Sky (Allman Bros)I Go Back (Kenny Chesney)Nowhere to Be (Cast Iron Filter, best band you've never heard of)If you don't know a lot of the bands above, you're probably a northerner who doesn't like country, and should be ashamed of yourself

bigkg 0
Hazing is hilarious. My brother went through so much of it last year. Here are some things he had to do:-He got locked up in a room for 24 straight hours with no light while they blasted the Price is Right theme song at max volume in the same room.-They had buckets of ice water poured over them while Foreigner's "Cold As Ice" was blasting.-They had to do wall sits, but instead of sitting on a wall they had to lean on a different person's back who was leaning on them while they sang "Lean On Me."Hmmm...that's all I can think of, it probably wasn't even that bad compared to other places, but it sounded terrible to me. avsfan 0
And you proably want to hear a Foxx Tone Machine for that nostalgic tone. So get some ZZ Top I suggest Deguello.
