its called STACKED and will be on X-BOX. here is the press release. Best of luck with it daniel, though i am skeptical of its market since poker fanes will just play online and there will probably be ethical issues of selling it to children.Myelin Media Gets STACKED with Poker Champion Daniel Negreanu; Poker Game Raises the Stakes with Player of the Year and Massive Online Tournaments NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 2005--Myelin Media Inc., a publisher of interactive entertainment software, today announced STACKED™ with Daniel Negreanu, a Texas Hold 'em poker game that captures the look, excitement and drama of the phenomenon that has captivated America. With participation from poker's most dynamic and successful professionals, a breakthrough artificial intelligence solution, massive online tournaments, and professional broadcast design, STACKED promises to deliver the most full-featured Texas Hold 'em experience ever created. Developed by 5000ft, Inc., the game is slated for release on the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft Corporation, the PSP™ handheld entertainment system from Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. as well as the PC and other video game consoles in Summer 2005. STACKED features a comprehensive poker school in which the player can receive tips and strategies from Daniel Negreanu (2004 ESPN Player of the Year, World Poker Tour Player of the Year, Card Player Magazine Player of the Year and all-time World Poker Tour money winner). Daniel will teach players everything from the fundamentals of Hold 'em to advanced tournament strategies through full motion video, voiceovers and dynamic in-game features. As players progress through the game's career mode, they can apply Daniel's teachings to overcome some of poker's most renowned stars, including Josh Arieh, Jennifer Harman, Erick Lindgren, Carlos Mortenson, Evelyn Ng and David Williams. "With more than 60 million Americans playing poker, Texas Hold 'em is emerging as a national pastime," said Gene Mauro, CEO of Myelin Media Inc. "Poker is as much a lifestyle as a game, and STACKED offers an immersive experience for those looking to advance their skill and enjoyment of the sport." The Poki™ Artificial Intelligence system utilized in STACKED is the culmination of over ten years of research by the University of Alberta's Poker Research Group. Poki adapts its tactics in real-time to exploit the user's playing style, detecting tendencies and deploying appropriate counter-strategies to deliver a challenging and authentic experience. In the STACKED League, gamers can go online to organize a casual game with friends or compete to qualify for sanctioned multi-table tournaments. Communicating via text messages, voice chat and context-specific character gestures, players will be able to bluff their way to victory, goad opponents into making mistakes and celebrate winning a large pot with style. The fun part would be online play against friends.I doubt the makers of the game could come up with complex tells and stuff when you're up against AI. Could be wrong, though.
A minute of perfection was worth the effort. A moment was the most you could ever expect from perfection.

Must be his big announcement
Suggestive thinking, causing your perspective to change

And when I need to free my mind
I can find, satisfaction in a bag of weed
Everything I need, leave it to the trees
It can make me feel better, and every day I wake
Niggas rollin' up blunts, and mo blunts, and mo blunts
And I keep a case of Swisher Sweets in the trunk
So when I'm rollin', smokin', chokin', just floatin

I must say that my first reaction to a poker video game was, "oh man, it's not going to be any good". Reading the press release, however, my interest was definitely piqued.

That sounds pretty cool. Obviously the cynic in me will be skeptical until I see it, but I think with the huge poker market out there, anyone that comes out with a poker video game that is "THE poker video game" will make a killing, and thusly will make the developers work really hard. I'll definitely check it out.
I'm not a professional poker player, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
