I would put him on AA or QQ myself. That comment preflop would have me thinking he had a decent pp. As confident as he sounds, I think he would've raised your postflop bet with KK or JJ. Sounds like he hit the FH and slowplayed it. I agree with how you played it though. I would think he had crap until the river allin. That's when that sinking feeling would hit my gut. By that time you are pretty committed to the pot, though. Then again, the fact that you've posted this hand should prove the fact that I am completely wrong.

Easy fold on the flop. How many people do you know would say that with a hand worse than yours? My buddy Tim says shyte like that all the time, giving away his hand to all but the most unobservant players in our game.

Well, how are you advocating a fold on the flop when I'm the one that bet out? Errr..?Should I be check/folding here? :? Should I bet/fold the raise on the turn? Or ...?-fop

Can i ask exactly what you ran into. My guess would be the same as smash's with the Aces full. By the turn card you had enough invested to call on the turn and were gettin slightly better than 3:1( my math sucks)
