playing in the 20 dollar tourney tonight on stars about 50 people left out of 900 and it moves me from my table to another. I sat down while a hand on my new table was in progress and the hole cards of one of the 2 players involved in the hand were showing face up to me. I could clearly see A5 offsuit and was a bit freaked out. The guy flopped bottom pair and had to fold to a big bet. Granted, this didnt mean anything for me personally in the tourney but still just a bit freaked out by these computer glitches. anyone else have anything like this happen?

It's either a stupid JOPKE, or you're stupid.Either way, you aren't coming off well. They are the cards of the guy in that seat of your last table.I've seen it too.the other players hole cards are not sent to your computer till NECESSARY.Jeebus Christo.

Come on Tritz, enough is enough. Stop making new posts under a different name and just forget it.I think it's pretty obvious that the OP is really Tritz trying, once again, to prove to us that he think something isnt right...

So Tritz created another ID back in May, posted 90-odd times since then just to pull some practical joke? Someone has way too much time on their hands...or someone else is way paranoid.

I am forwarding this thread to PokerStars because it is obvious that you have attempted and succeded in hacking into the Stars software. You will surely be prosecuted and convicted. You will spend the next three years of your life being raped repeatedly by a guy called Jerome...and will surely be the easy gang bang of the Arien nation gangs. Enjoy.Have a nice day.

I heard about this happening before, the guy emailed Pokerstars and they told him it was the cards from is last table. What was really strange is the guy on the last table had KK, and so did the guy at the new table.

It is a resonable question. Most people here are thinking that you are lying, or joking, about it happening. Your story comes on the heels of a long running thread about Poker Stars and a possibly seeing board cards before you should be able to. That's the explination for a lot of the responses here.I haven't seen this happen on Stars, but I've only played a few tourneyments there. I'm hoping that it is some kind of graphical glitch. Something like the guy at the first table you were at turned up A5 just as you were being relocated, the graphical part of the Poker Stars program messed up and painted these cards at the new table and it just looked like that guy was playing A5 there. Do you have any other evidence if the guy at the new table really had A5 or could he just have folded any two cards to a big bet?

Do you have any other evidence I'll answer this one for the OP.No.Coincidentally, this is the same question and the same answer that was asked of the other poster as well, one Tritz. Go put your tinfoil hat back on.Justin

I never said i had any kind of proof, evidence, etc. I have been playing on stars for years, and I saw something I had never seen, hole cards face up on the table and asked for an explanation. I recieved a quick and helpful response from Spademan informing me of exactly what had happened and why I saw what I did. Bingo bango bongo, question answered. Somehow I'm not surprised that it didnt stop there, seeing as though every time a question is asked there are many people who feel the need to ridicule or "flame" the OP. Picked on as a child and now getting your revenge on an internet board?

Coincidentally, this has nothing to do with what the other guy was saying...weird.

I wasn’t looking for “evidence” in terms of some kind to admit in court. I’m just seeking clarification on what you saw. Spademan was describing a graphics glitch where the cards appeared to be active at the new table but, in fact, weren’t. Your original description sounds you saw him playing the A5. I was just asking if you had some reason to believe that he was, in fact, playing those cards. Like said, I hope (and believe) that this is just some graphical glitch, not anything where it could do any real harm. My take on most likely scenarios:1) some harmless graphical glitch in Poker Stars.2) some harmless Windows paint problem.3) the OP didn't see what he thought he saw.4) It's a (bad) joke by the OP5) there is some problem in the Poker Stars software where you occasionally get to see cards you aren't supposed to.6) This is all a giant joke on Jeepster. jten21 is Tritz. I'm Tritz. Everybody on this site but him is Tritz and we're...I mean I'm...trying to make a fool of him.

No when I said he was playing A5 offsuit, its because those were the cards I saw. After I recieved the explanation, I realized these were not his cards, and it was simply a graphics glitch showing the cards of the person from my previous table. I guess I was just a victim of bad timing with this question huh?

Cool. Thanks for the clarification. I didn't think that you were really seeing "active" cards. But since I'm currently debuging a program that is doing something that is "impossible" I just wanted to make sure.
