This seems fine. He probably put you on a three and decided to bet his 49 of hearts when the four hit the river. That would be a silly play, but 1/2 people are capable of it.
wrong wrong wrong haha :-)

I really like how you played it, I'm curious about your thoughts on why you made certain plays though. You raised the flop to see where you were at, and isolate? You checked the turn because you weren't sure you were ahead and didn't want a c/r, just wanted a cheap showdown?River is pretty self explanatory...I'm curious b/c those are my thoughts and I'm pretty inexperienced at limit.

Flop raise was to see hand strength..anybody with a queen is going to 3 bet...anybody with a 3 is going to slow down. It was a semi isolation with one person acting behind me still so i am pretty confident that i am ahead of most handsi took the free card on the turn b/c it could hurt me in several ways...he could have spiked a 7 or the possible flush draw that would have been completed....His play was a pretty standard cry for a flush on the flop...river is an easy cap where i pay off just a few hands if im wrong

if i dont hit then i have a tough river decision
no you don't, you fold and give him credit for something that beats you since the pot isn't big enough to try to call a possible bluff attempt
