Maybe. But I can't just fold everytime I get raised on the flop when an ace hits. These censored are tricky at 10/20.
if theyre that tricky, they'll pay you off when you have real hands. will they fold to 3 bets if theyre bluffing?

I just started playing 10/20 and it really is amazing the difference in postflop play from 5/10 to 10/20. The preflop play seems looser at 10/20 and the postflop play is leaps and bounds trickier. There's been a definite learning curve.

In a small pot, with no additional information about the villain, I probably check/fold the turn. But, if I know him to be a LAG, or ubertricky, maybe I call him down. And if instead, he's a tight-passive, untricky player, I may fold to the flop raise.Basically, in most cases, the pot is small enough where it's usually not worth 2 more BB to see his Ace.

I guess 3 betting the flop is better than just calling down. I dunno.
If you three bet the flop he'll probably call the 3 bet and now u have to bet the turn too. I dont like 3 betting the flop here, just B/C Ch/F.

Yes it should have. I think there's part of me that thinks folding the flop or the turn is right. If I am going to continue with the hand, I probably should 3 bet the flop, lead the turn and fold to a raise. The table was really really tricky postflop and loose preflop, which is the reason I called down. The conflict in my mind could simply be results based thinking, b/c he ended up turning over 99. I dunno. Anymore thoughts would be appreciated.

Really? I've been raised on the flop or turn nearly everytime i bet the flop playing in this game tonight. I think it's wa/wb.
coould this statement here not make you think that leading out on the flop may be a bad thing? perhaps a check/raise is in order, no? :?

If you're gonna play it, its very read dependent.Playing that level, you should have stats on your opponents, that would be the best way to go about it, imo.Pokertracker is like 3 bb's in that game ;)Give the stats in your posts, it'll make for better discussion.

Yeah, I get that most people think folding to the flop raise is the best play, but I just can't see folding every time I have a big pair and an ace flops, at least heads up. At this table, he could be cold calling with a lot of hands that I have smoked. Are there any other viable options other than b/c c/f?

At this table, he could be cold calling with a lot of hands that I have smoked. Then raising this flop, behind?Good for him, he'll make you rich.Correct me if I'm wrong but MOST of the time when you raise it means Ax with X being a good kicker, right? So you think that he's decided, for this one particular hand to put you on a middle pair and to raise this flop with TT or something?Honest?Or is it more you just can't fold pocket Jacks?Let me know.
