I would like some input on the following hand:Game: NLHTournament: 3-Table SnG ($10 buyin) Party PokerBlinds at 250/5007 players remaining (5 places payout)I have 8000 chips opponent has 2800I'm dealt 8d6d in big blind...everyone folds to opponent in small blind small blind raises to 1000 I callFlop: Kd, 2c, 4dOpponent bets 500...on a flush draw, I raise to 1000, he callsThis is where I'd like some input regarding my logic:I raised figuring he had a K with mid-kicker and with my raise I wanted to:1. Make him think that I had a K with better kicker. Assuming he does, this would allow me to see the river for free/cheap and hit my flush on turn or river (assuming he would'nt improve his hand on the turn and would check)2. By raising, he would not think that I was on the flush draw and if I hit my flush, I would probaby bust himThoughts?

Put him all in if you're going to raise 1000. Making him decide if he really likes this flop enough to risk going out right now increases your fold equity substantially. Even though a more sophisticated payer will realize he's almost pot committted by caling your raise and push in or fold, the average player may see this as ok to call, but fold to an all in.
