Here is a hand I recently ( in the last hour) played. I layed down what would have been the winning hand to a bet on the turn. What do you think?Game #698307345 (Level III, Game #8) - 15/30 No Limit Texas Hold'em - 2005/01/21-11:40:26.5 (CST)Table "Kauehi" ($5 tournament) -- Seat 5 is the buttonSeat 2: rojo67 (620.00 in chips)Seat 4: STERLIN (1,330.00 in chips)Seat 5: mr. wolf 7 (1,090.00 in chips)Seat 6: NorthPacific (2,395.00 in chips)Seat 9: wildman2 (780.00 in chips)Seat 10: acesandkings (3,785.00 in chips)NorthPacific: Post Small Blind (15)wildman2: Post Big Blind (30)Dealt to NorthPacific [ Jc ]Dealt to NorthPacific [ Th ]acesandkings: Call (30)rojo67 : Fold STERLIN : Call (30)mr. wolf 7: Fold NorthPacific: Call (15)wildman2: Check I called the bb from the sb with med/high unsuited connecters. Usually do may be a leak, don’t know. Pots $120 tc at this point*** FLOP *** : [ Kc 7c 9c ]NorthPacific: Check wildman2: Check acesandkings: Check STERLIN : Check Three clubs on the flop, giving me a medium high flush draw.*** TURN *** : [ Kc 7c 9c ] [ 6s ]NorthPacific: Check wildman2: Bet (100)acesandkings: Fold STERLIN : Call (100)NorthPacific: Fold I fold to the $100 tc bet and call which would have made the pot $320 tc for a $100 tc bet on my part, didn’t think the pot odds allowed for a call. Flush and gutshot = 12 outs with one card to come. *** RIVER *** : [ Kc 7c 9c 6s ] [ Qc ]And of course the fourth club falls on the river which would have given me the winning hand. I just entered the odds into a pot odds calculator and it showed I should have made the call. Any agree or disagree with first my play and second the odds calculator. Any insight would be appreciated.

I woulda been the one betting if I was you, its pretty obvious no one flopped a flush, and you have a gutshot on the flop and a double gutted on the turn, I'm not a big fan of the semi bluff but this is a great spot to do it in
Suggestive thinking, causing your perspective to change

And when I need to free my mind
I can find, satisfaction in a bag of weed
Everything I need, leave it to the trees
It can make me feel better, and every day I wake
Niggas rollin' up blunts, and mo blunts, and mo blunts
And I keep a case of Swisher Sweets in the trunk
So when I'm rollin', smokin', chokin', just floatin

You may have fewer outs than that though. You aren't drawing to the nut flush, so anyone with the Q or A of clubs will beat you (obviously river shows that the Q is gone). If someone is drawing to the nut flush then you can only with a Q, J, or 10 of non-clubs. Hitting a pair of J's or 10's may not win it either if someone has a K in their hand. How had the guy who bet on the turn been playing? He could have fired that bet out because everyone checked the turn and he sensed weakness. If you'd noticed him doing that earlier, I'd call, but if not then I'd fold.

I fold to the $100 tc bet and call which would have made the pot $320 tc for a $100 tc bet on my part, didn’t think the pot odds allowed for a call. Flush and gutshot = 12 outs with one card to come. 15. Youre double gutted. An 8 gives you the nut straight as well.Call it.

Oops, didn't realize there was a 7 on the board. What about the possibility that someone is drawing to a higher flush, reducing you to a lot fewer outs?

What about the possibility that someone is drawing to a higher flush, reducing you to a lot fewer outs?Oh it's a one card flush? Look at that. I should probably read these more carefully.Yeah, easy fold, the flush outs are worth maybe, maybe 2 outs here with someone betting into the three flush on the board. That and you're not happy calling a big bet on the river even if you make the flush.Still, you were double gutted!:D
