I have an uncle who is just filthy rich. It's sickening. Well he's dabbled with poker for about 5 years now so he's a pretty good player. Well he decided to give online poker a try for the first time. He signed up on UB and made the standard (tongue planted firmly in cheek) 5 grand deposit. He then played the 25-50 NL table and ran into the buzzsaw they call Spirit Rock. You know the rest.We always talk about the best LIVE players in the world. Well I'm curious to see some of your opinions of the best ONLINE players in the world. Have fun with it...

Magicpitch is awesome from what I've seen of his play in the 25-50 UB game.Alabamaslim has to be by far one of the worst regular players in the 25-50 UB game.On Pokerstars, StuDaKid regularly plays the 5-10 $1k NL game and it always seems like he's up. He usually plays 3-4 tables at once.

Too hard to say for sure with ring games. For tournaments, Teecoy of PokerStars had a helluva run in 2004. As did Hamman and TheBeat. You can see the best tourney players on PS by looking over the Tournament Leader Board.

I think the most "legendary" online player is probably 'neverwin' on pokerstars.......always at the highest spread limit table with a bankroll well over 100k in play. There are a bunch of posts on RGP about how he might be a bot....or that 'neverlose' is a bot.....or even better that 'neverlose' is his dad. Whatever the truth is its funny.

"neverlose" is a room-sized supercomputer that is made from the remnants of ENIAC. It was originally developed to disprove special relativity and the quantum uncertainty principal. Then one day, it was bit by a radioactive spider.... a POKER SPIDER! now it plays on stars all the time with a huge bankroll it got by stealing nazi gold.by the way... best online player = jayistheman 8) in all seriousness though... i would concur that the "buzzsaw" that is spirit rock is pretty incredible.

I think another post was wondering what Spirit Rock's newest name is on UB. Well, I have a guess.... "AplusGame247" is playing 3 25/50 NL tables right now, rebuying anytime under $5K and overbetting just like Spirit Rock always has. Just a guess though.

Speaking of good players...The Hendon Mob. They were featured in a tournament on Prima Poker back in the fall. I was fortunate enough to "beat the mob" and a field of 294 players. Check it out.http://www.prweb.com...prweb178259.htmTparks

P0ker H0 on UB is the best tournament player I've seen. He consistently makes the money and won upwards of 200 K in the 2 months I saw him. And those were just the times I watched. Spirit Rock is probably the best ring game player on there.
