My friend was in a SNG and i was wondering what woulda been the best move.Preflop KK, blinds 15-30 about 4 limpers so he raises to 325 total and he gets one caller. The flop comes k 10 Q His opponent only had like 500 left and he checked so now it's to my friend with his trip Kings.What would have been better here? Check, bet half the pot or put him all in.My thinking was well it's a pretty connected board(straight possibility and flush draw) and this guy did try to see a cheap flop before. The guy only had like 500 left so there's no point in only betting half the pot because if he's going to call 250 he's going to be playing for all his chips. My friend put him all in for the rest of his chips and the guy folded, what do you think he should hav done?

How many chips did your friend have? I would check the flop though. Why did he bet so much preflop though? Did he want everyone to know he had a monster?

limp preflop with the kings always, on a flop like that, you definately slowplay and let the other guy catch his straight or flush before you puah your top set all-in...

Lol, after I typed it I said to myself "I should include how many chips my friend had" but I didn't.....dunno why, my fault. He had about 1,000.The blinds were 15-30 and there were 4 limpers(at least 4) and he did his math wrong. (3-4x big blind plus bb for every limper).

He played it well. The board is far too connected to try for a check/raise or slowplay against someone who didn't show aggression PF.You have to raise this preflop. 4 limpers contribute plenty of dough. What do you do when an A flops? What do you do when you bet a flop of undercards and suddenly an all-in is thrown back in your face? You must raise the preflop. Good line.

Couple of thoughts:1. Pre-flop bet was too much...I'd bet around 175 - 225 with blinds at 30 with 4 limpers...that should be enough to thin the field to 1 or 22. Assuming you do that, with that flop you have to push all in...flop is too coordinated to give him a free card.3. Given the pre-flop bet your friend made, pushing all-in on the flop is the best play.

I think the best play on the flop is to bet about 200. the guy will call any bet if he has more than 4 outs. if he has hearts or a J all the money is already in the pot so your betting strategy doesn't matter. what you really want is to make sure the other player will put all his money in if he has a 10 or a Q and is drawing dead. a bet of about 200 gives him such good odds that he will call with alot of weak hands. on the turn you can go all in and hope to collect the last 300.The main idea in this hand is that the pot is so big that you cannot protect your hand against any of his good draws. so you need to focus on trying to get the rest of his chips in the pot when he is drawing dead instead of worrying about all the draws he could have.
