Hey guys, I just got through with the 2nd episode on Tilt on ESPN.What do you guys think so far?I saw people flaming it earlier, but I like it.It is corny now and then, and seems to be like "you always have good hands","they win to easy", etc, but is it really for non-poker players? I don't think so, I think WSOP and Travel and Bravo do a good job of that. I think that sucks them in, and this is just a close look inside, and it gives us something to talk about, and it gives us something to watch as Poker players.I think this series looks to be good, and it leaves with soo many cliffhangers.I know most won't agree, but I seem to like it.

The three main characters all suck at poker. Everytime they're shown with the nuts. Who the hell wouldn't call with the nuts? They always show them winning. This simply cannot be true...nobody always wins. Nobody always has the nuts either.

I like the show, obviously its not a view into the real life of poker, but its an interesting show. By the way, where are you from in Bama??

i think it was more promising than the pilot was. I like that it almost veered away from the complete cheating aspect of the show, and it was nice to know a little more about the backstories, which shows why the 3 main characters are trying to take the matador down. you also see a little more human in the matador: he was really trying to please his daughter and then for some reason he was crying near the end.... anyone know why? (he was in the car not moving)

Honestly, I thought this one was worse. Seemed slow and dark and didn't hold my attention as much as the first one. I also don't like how Sheriff Buford T. Justice or whoever the hell he is keeps popping up everywhere, without much of a glimpse of how he figures this stuff out - other than the couple minutes you saw him researching online.Character wise, I like Madsen in just about any role, and I think he is doing well. And I think the hit the nail on the head with the Henderson character. Beyond that, I'm not impressed. The bubblegum machines they had sitting around the table with Eddie early on when Aliquippa Andy was shooting his mouth off looked like the type of characters you'd see at a 1-2 table on truepoker.com.I'm sure Smash was dying to know if Miami raised that A-K pre-flop against the blonde surfer dude. :D

I loved the bookie joint the kid was running, hilarious,. hey the shows what it is, an espn drama, its just like playmakers, forget about the poker aspect and take it for what its worth. By the way, is it me, or do they play the chick off as shes something else? The matadors daughter is hot! that blonde girl looks like courtney love.

See, we keep saying what happened here and there. I think this is going to be answered next week !! ^_^I think the hangers and the overall "story" is good.I wouldn't like it if it was just like Travel or WSOP, because it would be same ole same ole, but it gives you a story, maybe something that could really happen. It is all really really unlikely though, lol.I am impressed and glad us Poker players have something really fun to watch, maybe Reality Poker? :? I don't think that would work, lol.We will just have to see as the weeks go, but for now, the acting is "ok", the story is good, and the hangers are great!!

Reality Poker, now thats a great idea, survivor only poker! This is the story of 7 rounders, picked to live in a house....i can see it now, dan, annie, hellmuth, mattisou..... can you imagine hellmuth on a show like that, the guy would be hilarious..

They stepped up the dialogue. It's sad. I was hoping they would match the awfulness of "I raise" and so on, but this was just unwatchably bad. They went from potentially shattering the unintentional comedy scale and redefining hilariously awful television, and they blew their one golden opportunity. It was marginally better, and that made it all the worse.

Diver,I think you nailed it. That must be what the announcement daniel has for everyone....Survivor of the rounders realtiy show. They all take 1 million, live in a home together and play until 1 player has it all, while at the same time doing other tasks, so their at each others throats when they sit at the table

I liked it better than the first one. I dont like how all they ever play is no limit hold 'em ( with the the exception of the pot limit game tonight) its bullshit most pros you seee around are in the trenches playin 10/20 15/30 20/40 30/60 and so on. Most the pros out there dont play no limit everyday. i would like for them too put some high limit omaha or stud ... maybe a H.O.R.S.E game on the show but i dont think its gonna happen but i will keep watchin. 8)

I liked this one better. I agree that the dialogue does kinda suck. But I did laugh at the line, "Don't give your chips a handjob everytime you get an ace." :D
