online low limit hold'em

i was just looking for some advice on playing low limit hold'em online. i've been playing online for a while and cant seem to move up in limits as quickly as i feel i should. i srtarted out playing 0.5/1 and 1/2 but am becoming increasingly frustrated with 6-7 callers every pot and constantly being drawn out. my game is very solid, i'm a regular 10/20 live game player and do well, however i'm having great diffuculty adjusting to low limit online. i know slansky says everytime people call you without the right pot odds you'll gain in the long run, but when 5 people call you as opposed to 1 or 2 like in 10/20 it is very difficult for top pair top kicker to hold up. any help is greatly appreciated. penne
