JFarrel would have folded on the river because he didn't want them to know that he chased the flush. JFerral doesn't like to stay in with the nuts either. Personally I don't think there will ever be anyone to match the guy.

You guys have the wrong guy here. AKAconditioner would've folded on the river, because he doesn't want people to know he plays the nuts that way. JFarrel would've folded in 1st position on the flop because he thinks a bigger pot can be built without him in it, and he wants the extra FPPs or whatever they give out.

haha no it was on bodog...and to be honest i dont know what i was thinkin...preflop was idiotic on my part..but the pot was quite big by the time it got back to me so i figured what the heck..i was tired at the end of a long session...then on the flop it only cost me one bet in a huge pot with top pair and a backdoor.i think thats an easy call..turn is another easy call as i now have 9 new outs to the nuts and again its a huge potriver well i probably shouldnt have bet out...me waking up may have cost me a couple bets

Yes that was indeed quite the fishyness. Especially pre-flop. But hey, your loose/stupid calls paid off big time.

haha yes..but after the flop...was it such a bad flop call getting like 22-1 or so...i think you have to call with just about anything..i mean you have odds to call with 2 outs if needed...

Definite call on the flop, I think, with such a large pot. Especially only facing one bet.

Nah, once you're there, you're there. You can't fold for 1 SB once on that flop. Then on the turn, calling 2 cold twice was still within odds, I think (7.5-1, then 10.5-1). Dunno if they would have given you the c/r opportunity, but going for it here might be good.

With any 5 making a straight, and an obvious flush draw hitting the river, both opponents will probably check and then he'll miss any action whatsoever. He made the right play. Who's a noob?

I wouldn't call the guy a noob for checking in first position after checking the whole way through. By betting the river he obviously made his hand. With so much in the pot it's likely that you are up against hands big enough to go for a value bet on the river. A set will almost have to bet in that spot unless he put you on a running flush. You also have to consider the likelyhood that they would be scared by the 5 for the wheel since the pot was capped on the flop and the turn. Leading out here is more of a waste in my opinion, since you A) hold the nuts, B) you are more likely to scare out bets from players that would have called the bet from the earlier aggressors, and C) they have no reason to think that you have two hearts or a 5.
