Hand 1 - villian is 14/3/2.25 after 94 handsParty Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is SB with [Ad], [Kd]. UTG calls, 3 folds, UTG folds, MP3 calls.Flop: (8 SB) [4s], [9c], [Tc] (2 players)Hero bets, MP3 calls.Turn: (5 BB) [4d] (2 players)Hero bets, Hero calls.River: (9 BB) [Js] (2 players)Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls.Final Pot: 11 BBWas I correct to call the turn bet getting 8:1?Am I right to call if all I can beat is a bluff? For some reason I don't think I have a 1 in 10 chance to win this pot. He may have AcQc, but if he has AK, I'll only be splitting the pot. I guess if I feel that there's a chance he'll bluff on the end, I should bet/fold, instead of check/call.

Fold the turn, fish.:)I C/R this flop, I'm not unhappy if it's checked behind.

he's pretty f'ing tight with his VP$IP and his PFR%. i give him tons of credit and gladly fold the turn.i think a set of 10's, maybe 9's and sometimes an overpair is the most likely hand considering he raised preflop (he does that only a whopping 3% of the time) but just called the three-bet. i think he caps AA and KK but just calls QQ down.he is a little aggressive, though, so him raising AK isn't out of the question. still, the, you're getting freerolled, and that's not attractive.easy fold on the turn.flop play is interesting. i'm thinking about smash's line of check/raising the flop. does it really work against this rock semi-aggressive player?aseem

flop play is interesting. i'm thinking about smash's line of check/raising the flop. does it really work against this rock semi-aggressive player? It works to get me a free card even out of position unless he hits the turn huge in most cases. Also a flop three bet makes a turn check/fold a lot easier for the same price as betting out again. Not so much against a more agressive post flop player, of course. I'd be expecting him to check behind with a wide range of hands here, though, and I'm not overly concerned about giving him a free card if he's behind here. Against a non aressive player I can just check/fold a club turn here.
