Hi Daniel,I was wondering if you would mind commenting on the hand in the ESPN Tournament of Champions when you opened with Ad 8d and Chip Reese had the AQ. As I remember, he re-raised you, then you both checked to the river. The board by then had come TJxxK, giving Chip the nuts.I think it would be informative for everyone, but if not definitely for me, if you explained your thought process on all streets of this hand, why you called the re-raise/checked/checked/bet.If you don't have time for all that, it's cool. Anything would be appreciated.MathDoc.

I know I am not Daniel but Daniel said something like I figured you had AQ. Chip had the nuts and was hoping Daniel hit something so that he could bet and re-raise him (I think Chip was first to act). He gave Daniel another chance to bet and if not he would still be in the same situation. Either Daniel is going to put moeny in or not. If he does Great, if he doesn't it would have been the same result as if Chip led out, Daniel probably would have folded. This way too Chip might get a look if Daniel shows his cards instead of an auto muck by Daniel. I thinkDaniel KNEW he was beat and did not want to risk any more.My thoughts atleast.

That's one of two mistakes that I made during the evnt, and noth were televised. I actually limped in with the hand trying to be a little deceptive. Chip raised and I called. The flop came 10 high and it went check, check. The turn was a King and again it went check, check. The river was a Jack and i tried to represent A-Q myself. I didn't think Chip could call unless he had exactly A-Q. When he raised me, it was pretty obvious that he had to have precisely A-Q.
