Mattnxtc 0
.5/1 10 max..full tableim in mp2 and get dealt a8..now normally i would folded this hand but we had 3 posters this hand as unusual as that is...im not sure on sshe exact ruling..i tend to think its an easy call neways though i dont have the book with me...but im already getting 5-1 on my money...going on the standards laid out for big hands...suitedness is huge and a8 is of course the nut flush drawtp factor well it is an aceconnectivity has nonewhats yalls opinion on this..easy call im almost positive of..what about with less posters and just a few limpers? custom36 5
If you're at a preflop passive table, you should always be limping with Ax suited.
Actuary 3
easy limp with posters.maybe an open raise from mp but you'e safe limping in even in the tightest of games from mp.tight games with lots of aggression..i'd fold from EP...but I don't stay on those tables very long. princeof56k 0
When yall say dead money in the pot, are we trying to get these people to call an extra bet to make the pot huge, or are we hoping they fold leaving us with a good pot and a limited number of opponents? The reason I ask is because of the reasons why I wouldnt raise here. At this limit, I'm almost sure at least 2 of the posters are gonna call with a couple of other people calling 2 cold. Since we are juicing the pot, it would appear the raise is for value, but I dont see a lot of value in paying more money just to get on a draw. And if you pair your Ace, with all the people in the pot and your position, it might be tough to play your Ace with a weak kicker.Wouldnt it be better to call and see if more people limp in for one more small bet. We are are still trying to get the flush draw, but we get there a little cheaper and with the additional limpers the pot size is still good. And dont we get better implied odds with perhaps more people seeing the bigger streets.?
wrto4556 0
like Kdawg was saying, i raise this anyway...but, the dead money is good because our hand has a good equity and there is a lot of extra money in the pot.we raise on the button because if we pick up the blinds our raise shows profit...think of the profit of a raise here.im a little too tired to give a good response, im sorry. akishore 0
the more people that call our raise, the more likely it is that we are pushing an equity edge.the less people that call our raise, the more dead money is in the pot from all those blinds.win/win.yay.aseem
