This isn't much of a bad beat, but some guy threatened to 'meet me in the parking lot' over it. It was only 4-8$, don't know why he was so pissed, but I just want reassurance that what I did wasn't as he said "a completely retarded play" Ok, 4-8. last 3 positions (including me) are all shortstacked around 30$ a piece. Folds from UTG around to Button-2. He raises, but has been loose-aggressive. Button-1 calls, Me (button) call my Q :D J :) , sb folds, bb calls reluctantly.flop : Q :club: 6 :D 3 :) BB checks, Button-2 bets, Button-1 raises (it's most of his stack, he's got 7$ left), deciding I'm going to the river no matter what I reraise to 12$ button-2 calls, button-1 looking flustered caps leaving himself with 3$. I call, button-2 calls also leaving 3$. Before the turn card shows, button-2 bets all-in 3$Turn: 7 :club: Button-1 throws his last 3$ in, I callriver: blank (I don't remember or care I was defending myself)I'll just give results right now. button-2 had KQ, button-1 had Q6 giving him top two off the flop. I of course won with my Q high flush on the turn.He pushed me and tried to start a fight saying that I CANT raise to 12 on the flop without having the NUT flush draw with my Q. My reasoning was that I was 99.9% sure my flush draw WAS the best flush on the board, and figured my J's were pure out's as well. He was pissed because apparently he would've folded on the turn if he'd seen the flushcard fall, saving his 7$ for a miraculous comeback and completely throwing all logic and pot odd's/commitment calculations out the window. He continued to ridicule my play while I took several more pots, leaving the night with a healthy profit.Ah, that feels better. That post was more for me to vent than anything, but if you have any comments, feel free. Oh and we didn't get into a fight besides a quick shove. Later that week I did see a fight for the first time in the casino while I was playing 1-2NL. It was minor but hilarious.Well I feel better now, -Wallacer

Was it button-1 that you got in an altercation with? That's the same person that called a raise preflop with Q-6 right? That's the same person that's critiqing your play? 'Nuf said. He played crap preflop, got lucky on the flop, then got drawn by someone with top pair, a decent kicker, and a strong flush draw 3 handed. It's his own fault. I'm sure he's going to lose lots and push people often. What casino do you play at?
