66 in small blind vs possible steal

Eh, I'm not sure I like the three bet all that muchBB is very likely to call by your definition and you are first to act after the flopI like the rest of this hand though. Check-raising this flop might also work for some people, but meh

I don't mind the 3-bet. A somewhat loose player isn't calling with trash like 8-3, 3-2, 10-2, and the like. You hit a greeat flop and the rest are just value bets. Nice hand.

With this particular hand (66), I would not 3-bet pre-flop. I would call, and if the board came out with all low cards (like this hand did), I would go for the check/raise.

I probably have the best hand preflop, and I'll be playing it OOP. I don't want to let the BB in this hand. Sure I got lucky when the flop came. But I was also unlucky that the BB called. Plus, by three betting the rest of the table is probably putting me on a good hand, increasing my fold equity on later streets. By calling, BB is gonna play close to every hand. If two overs to my six come (which will likely happen), it's going to be very difficult for me to win the hand. If I call and the bb calls, I'm getting 3:1 odds preflop. Would you call UTG with sixes if you knew only 3 others would play (bb included)?

you have a good hand that you really dont want to fold. But you don't want the BB in the hand either because your hand does best heads up. So, we 3-bet.

If the raise came from a semi-loose-Aggr UTG and folded to you, do you also 3-bet?Or are you 3-betting because you can't play this as much now for set-value / implied odds, and are looking to win it, UI ? thanks.I'm trying to learn to be more aggressive..and calling here seems weakgood play.

generally, yes.if you're defending your SB, 95% of the time you want to 3-bet.Also, i would make this move outside of the blinds if i think i can fold the blinds and get someone heads up with AA-66.
